How did the dog do in the car? Amazing. She was really sweet and lay on the seat next to my daughter, or sat nicely. She also enjoyed looking at the window. 2.) How did the dog do on the leash? Pulled a little, but as she got exercise that subsided. 3.) How was the dog around other people to include kids? She did not encounter children. She was good with all adults. 4.) How was the dog near other animals? No 5.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? She was perfect. She lay at my feet and did not beg or jump up. 6.) Did the dog beg for food? No 7.) How did the dog do in the car? Great! Jellybeans loved the wind in her fur. She would occasionally sit near the window, other times would put her head out. She stayed in the backseat and was well behaved throughout. 2.) How did the dog do on the leash? Jellybeans was really good on a leash. She stayed on the sidewalk majority of the time. She does like to go for a run every once in awhile. 3.) How was the dog around other people to include kids? Jellybeans was friendly towards other people and kids. When we got to Doc B's she approached a child very gently and wanted to be pet. 4.) How was the dog near other animals? We did not come in contact with any other dogs. 5.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? Yes, Jellybeans laid down at the table for the entirety of the meal. 6.) Did the dog beg for food? No. 7.) How did the dog accept treats? She was not a big fan of the milk bones, required extra encouragement to eat. But she liked the other soft treats that were in the bag! She took them nicely from our hand and followed "sit" command. 8.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? People talked with her, but no one seemed interested in adopting. 9.) How did the dog do in the car? Jellybeans is great in the car. She was excited at first and whined a bit from her excitement but was very well behaved. 2.) How did the dog do on the leash? Jellybeans is a great walker. She doesn't pull and she stayed with me very well. When she got occupied with her sniffing, she quickly came to when I'd say her name. 3.) How was the dog around other people to include kids? She was very gentle with my 5 year old daughter. She took treats so gently and she gave her kisses in the backseat while we were driving. 4.) How was the dog near other animals? She liked chasing lizards on her walk. We saw 3 other dogs on our outing, and Jellybeans was curious but we didn't have any close interactions 5.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? Absolutely perfect. It took her a few minutes to settle and find a comfortable spot. Then she sat beside me and didn't beg or wander. 6.) Did the dog beg for food? Not at all. 7.) How did the dog accept treats? She LOVES treats and gets very perky when she sees the treat bag come out. She is very gentle and sweet when taking treats. She also knows how to sit for her treats. One of the photos is of Jellybeans sitting on my 5 year old's command and patiently waiting for her treat. 8.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? Not for adoption, we didn't meet anyone who was looking to adopt. Jellybeans got a lot of compliments though. We did educate a few people about the program who were excited to learn about Broward Buddies. 9.) Did you take photos and videos? I took only a couple of photos, we were just so busy enjoying Jellybeans' company that I didn't think to take pictures. 10.) Did you email photos and videos to: Foster@Broward.org ? I will attach them with this email. 11.) Other comments: Jellybeans is such a great dog. She has lovely manners and is great around kids. She's fun and affectionate and she would be a good addition to any family. I'd be happy to take Jellybeans out again for sure, she is a pleasure to be around.
