1.) How did the dog do in the car? becky was amazing in the car! She gets very excited to put her head out of the window so we only put it down half way. She eventually laid down and relaxed
2.) How did the dog do on the leash? becky is great on the leash, she is very strong and only pulls when she sees something is is interesting to her.
3.) How was the dog around other people to include kids? becky loves people and enjoys all the pets and attention!
4.) How was the dog near other animals? becky does not love other dogs. a single animal home would allow her to thrive.
5.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? becky begged a little, but for the most part she was awesome.
6.) Did the dog beg for food? only a little.
7.) How did the dog accept treats? so gentle!

11.) Other comments: Becky is a very sweet girl that would thrive in a single animal family home with a fenced in yard. She loves going on walks and exploring the nature around her. She is the most playful girl, but can get a bit excited when it comes to tug of war so someone that can match her strength would do best. She enjoys pets, but is not overly attached and enjoys playing independently with you near her side.

Becky arrived at the shelter all the way back in June of last year ? She is a wiggly sweetheart, but this shelter environment is definitely causing her unnecessary stress to the point where we cannot help her manage it. She is a curious girl who loves to go for walks and play. She needs your help for another chance in another environment.
Becky recently went out on a Broward Buddies outing, and here's what her date had to say about their time together:
"Becky is a very sweet girl that would thrive in a single animal family home with a fenced in yard. She loves going on walks and exploring the nature around her. She is the most playful girl, but can get a bit excited when it comes to tug of war so someone that can match her strength would do best. She enjoys pets, but is not overly attached and enjoys playing independently with you near her side."

2.) How did the dog do on the leash? She pulls at times and could therefore use more practice.
3.) How was the dog around other people to include kids? I didn't have her around other people or animals except for at the shelter. She jumped on the people that said hello to her.
4.) How was the dog near other animals? She was not happy about the dog in the cage by the exit door.
5.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? Yes, she sat nicely and watched me.
6.) Did the dog beg for food? a little bit, yes.
7.) How did the dog accept treats? She was good about accepting treats. She knows a lot of commands including sit, lie down, and leave it.

11.) Other comments: She is pretty rough in her play, not in an aggressive way, just plays hard. I don't think she would be great for a family with young kids. She has a lot of energy and really needs someone who is active and will wear her out. She was very respectful of my things. She was starting to pick up one of my stuffed animals and I told her no and to leave it and she did not try to pick them up again.

2.) How did the dog do on the leash? Ok needs a very strong person to guide her and train her on leash. I am not strong so it was a challenge for me. Not her fault though

Becky is a super sweet girl. She loves to be right next to you, even in the car she sat directly behind me! Wherever you go, she goes.
She loves attention. To be around people right in the center of what's going on. She makes herself right at home. Loves pets and affection. And she reciprocated affection as well.
Becky needs a strong leader - male or female, for leash and walk training. Shes not bad on leash, she pulls hard especially if there is another dog around. She could feel I was not strong and perhaps she knew she was in charge ??.
She would love to play ball and with sticks. She's inquisitive on walks.
