A2300164Thursday, 04 January, 2024This pet has received treatment for Heartworm disease following our FDA approved two-injection treatment protocol for Class 1 disease. While this treatment is 90% effective, it is the adopter's responsibility to have their pet re-tested after 6 months post treatment. The test will be positive for several months after treatment. Continue giving monthly heartworm prevention medications throughout the life of your dog. If the adopted pet retests positive, a repeat series may need to be given at adopter's own veterinarian/expense. ***Please keep your pet exercise restricted for one month following treatment to reduce chance of a severe complication. Cage rested, unless going on short leash bathroom breaks.*** Treatment of all medical conditions affecting this patient currently, or that patient may develop in the future is the adopter's responsibility. A2300164Wednesday, 14 February, 2024Broward Buddies Outing Date: 2-10-24 Dog Name and ID: Katie Broward Buddies Foster Parents Name(s): Broward Buddies Outing Location(s) Visited: Brewery & park Duration of the Outing: ~2 hours 1.) How did the dog do in the car? She loved the car. Jumped right in. Someone was in the backseat with her, and she was behaved in the car. Not sure how she would be with just one person. Once she was comfortable and used to us, she laid down with the passenger in the backseat. She was the most relaxed in the car. 2.) How did the dog do on the leash? She was good on the leash. She pulled a little, probably because she was never properly trained on the leash. You could tell that if she was worked, she would pick up being good on a leash quickly. She is strong, but seems easily trainable. 3.) How was the dog around other people to include kids? She was great around people. She was not around any kids, so can't say. Showed everyone love. Did not jump up on people. Very loving. 4.) How was the dog near other animals? She wasn't amused by other animals. A dog barked at her and she wanted to go up to the dog, but we just let her smell the other dog. She was not aggressive around other dogs. 5.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? N/A 6.) Did the dog beg for food? N/A 7.) How did the dog accept treats? She was gentle with treats. Ate out of our hands. Didn't "snap" at the treats. 8.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? Yes people loved her at the brewery we took her to. 9.) Did you take photos and videos? Yes. Attaching here Wednesday, 14 February, 2024 2:20PMBehavior
