A2283207Saturday, 01 July, 2023Broward Buddies Outing Date: 6/28/2023 Dog Name and ID: MIRABELL - ID#A2283207 Broward Buddies Foster Parents Name(s): Alex Hartney Broward Buddies Outing Location(s) Visited: Tarpon River Brewery, Snyder Park, Cali Coffee Duration of the Outing: 1 pm - 5 pm 1.) How did the dog do in the car? She was afraid of the car and didn't want to get in. However, she let me pick her up and put her in the car. At first she was scared, shaking but did get comfortable. She liked having the window down and sticking her nose out. On the way home she was more relaxed and laid down in the car. 2.) How did the dog do on the leash? She is great on the leash, didn't pull, walked at my pace. 3.) How was the dog around other people to include kids? She wanted everyone's attention, but was very polite. She didn't jump lunge or bark to get their attention, she would just stand there looking at them. When people would pet she loved it. 4.) How was the dog near other animals? Another dog came into the restaurant and she looked at them but seemed unphased, didn't bark or go towards them. 5.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? Yes, she would sometimes stand near my chair but mostly just kepting walking around. Sometimes going to get water other times standing looking at people to see if they would pet her. 6.) Did the dog beg for food? No, she did not beg for food. 7.) How did the dog accept treats? She accepted the treats but didn't eat them. 8.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? Yes, a couple did approach us and asked about petting her, what her breed was, and wanted to know more about the program. 9.) Did you take photos and videos? Yes 10.) Did you email photos and videos to: Foster@Broward.org ? I sent the photos and videos to Broward Buddies Instagram page and a post was made. 11.) Other comments: At lunch Mirabell seemed a bit restless, she was more interested in just being pet by everyone. When we went to the park she was very relaxed, laying down next to me and just wanting to be pet. She seems like the perfect couch potato dog. Saturday, 01 July, 2023 6:11PMBehavior

Duration of the Outing: 1.) How did the dog do in the car? Mirabell is a little nervous about entering and exiting the vehicle but once in she is a perfect angel. She enjoys sticking her head out the window. 2.) How did the dog do on the leash? She is fantastic on the leash. She doesn't really pull and is great at being directed, she enjoyed stopping to smell all the smells in new areas and was quick to know where "home" was located. 3.) How was the dog around other people to include kids? She is very friendly around people. She wanted pets and attention from everyone she encountered. She is a complete sweetheart. 4.) How was the dog near other animals? During her sleepover she was introduced to my dog and was not a fan. She was perfectly content being in the same general vicinity as my dog but would growl and show teeth if my dog was too close or she got too close to my dog. As far as the cats go, she did not pay any attention to them. 5.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? Yes. 6.) Did the dog beg for food? No. 7.) How did the dog accept treats? She enjoys her treats and takes them from you gently. 8.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? The girl at the Starbucks window fell in love with Mirabell but unfortunately could not have pets. 9.) Did you take photos and videos? Yes. 10.) Did you email photos and videos to: Foster@Broward.org ? Yes. 11.) Other comments: Mirabell is the GOODEST OF GIRLS and the BEST DOG! She is very sweet and gentle and loves to follow you around wherever you go, especially the kitchen. She is a perfect dog for anyone that would love a couch buddy. She is very calm and didn't mind being around my cats. She is also housetrained, so that was a plus. She is very excitable when seeing you first thing in the morning with a big smile and tail wag. She sleeps well through the night and won't wake you up in the early morning. She is all around a perfect family dog and brings joy to your day with her very laid back personality. I absolutely would have kept her if she had gotten along with my dog. I hope she finds the perfect family as she is extremely deserving of a great home and I know she will bring her new family many years of joy! Sunday, 09 July, 2023 10:30AMBehavior
