A2187432 | Sunday, 10 April, 2022 | Officer 3128 4/10/22
Arrived and met with Mr. Parmar ( 954-565-1892 )( Officer Manager ). Mr. Parmar advised that there was a dog ( AMB, Male, Brown/White, multi color nylon collar ) in Apartment 123 that was abandoned by its owner ( Mr. Tramille Alva Carty ). Mr. Parmar advised that the owner hasn't paid for his time at this Motel and requested that the dog be removed. Mr Parmar allowed me to enter Unit 123. The dog appears to be bright and alert. I appears to be of good weight and I didn't see any health concerns on the dog. Due to the dog being scared, I placed the dog on a catch pole and the dog jumped into one of my holding cages. I scanned the dog but found nothing. Mr. Parmar advised that he had called Ft Lauderdale PD and that they advised him to call BCAC.
PD CASE # 34-2204-064300
After the dog was removed from the Unit, I took photos of the inside of the Unit. I also advised Mr. Parmar that I would be taping a Door Knocker to the door. Photos were taken. Will take the dog to BCAC. 3128

Dog Name and ID: Clyde-A2187432
Volunteer Name and Phone Number:Ashley Waters 954 529 7143
Location Visited: 2400 sw 42 st Fort Lauderdale
Duration of the Date: 11am-5pm
1.) How did the dog do in the car? -Excellent, he loved the back seat and enjoyed hanging out the window!
2.) How was the dog around other people? -Clyde was a friendly boy and allowed everyone to pet him. After a few hours he was affectionate to me, giving kisses and wagging his tail.
3.) How was the dog near other animals? -We only passed by one dog ( it was a female) at the lake where i took him, the lady stopped to talk with us and i crouched down and held Clyde around his chest, as i was told that he had previously been a little reactive to other dogs but he just sat quietly and allowed the female dog to sniff him a little.
4.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? -Yes, he was a well behaved boy. He enjoyed a steak for lunch and then just laid next to us.
5.) Did the dog beg for food? -Not once
6.) How did the dog accept treats? -So gently, he is the perfect gentleman.
7.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? -Yes. I was informing every person that made eye contact with me or looked at Clyde that he was up for adoption. I had 2 serious inquiries so I took down their info and called and gave it to Ricardo who did my intake at the care center when i originally picked up Clyde.
8.) Did you take photos and videos? -Yes
9.) Did you email photos and videos to: Foster@Broward.org ? -I sent them to@lunchbuddiesbroward on their instagram account but i will email them as well. I also posted our day on my personal social media.
10.) Other comments: -Clyde is the perfect boy and I'm not sure why he hasn't been adopted yet. I fell in love with him and cried the whole way home after leaving him. We already have 2 large dogs at home and cannot take another at this time or he would be mine!

A2187432 | Friday, 28 October, 2022 | Broward Buddies Date: 10-26-22
This gentle giant is the perfect companion for a day of errands. Clyde and I spent the day going on a hike, walking Home Depot, making new friends at Starbucks and seeing everything there was to see at Petsmart. He made lots of new human friends, took treats very gently and did amazing in the car. He is a big pup that thinks he is tiny - he was happiest when he was as close to me as psychically possible (preferably in my lap). He was indifferent to the bikes, scooters and golf carts that passed us on our hike and didn't register the cats at Petsmart one way or another.

Volunteer Name and Phone Number: Ashley Erickson
Broward Buddies Date Location(s) Visited: Starbucks, Snyder Park, T.Y. Park, Pet Supermarket, Petsmart, Home Depot, Bass Pro Shop
Duration of the Date: 10/26 - 4 hours and 10/27 4 hours
1.) How did the dog do in the car? -He is excellent! No whining, likes to stick his head out the window, eventually settled down and slept in the backseat.
2.) How was the dog around other people? -Clyde is very friendly and respectful when approaching people. He is eager to take pets from strangers but not obnoxiously so. He is interested in children and approaches them calmly.
3.) How was the dog near other animals? -Clyde was introduced to 2 groups of cats (behind glass or in cages) at Petsmart and Pet Supermarket. The first time he was indifferent even when a cat lunged pawing at the glass and hissing. He was easily re-directed and moved away. When he encountered the cage of kittens at Pet Supermarket he was curious and went into a puppy bow attempting to initiate play. He saw a few dogs on our walks and did not express interest in them at all. He is VERY interested in squirrels.
4.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? -Yes - he was perfect and settled while I ate.
5.) Did the dog beg for food? -Never. I had a piece of string cheese at his head height and he didn't even try to go for it. When I got him a pupcup and put it in the cupholder he waited patiently until I offered it to him.
6.) How did the dog accept treats? -He has a very gentle mouth and takes treats politely.
7.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? -2 women took his information.
8.) Did you take photos and videos? -Yes, both.
9.) Did you email photos and videos to: Foster@Broward.org ? -I will send them separately.
10.) Other comments: -I took Clyde into the bathroom stall with me multiple times and he was a perfect gentleman - sitting and waiting patiently. He was unbothered by the sound of the hand dryer and was not bothered by a full class of elementary school students that were noisily running around the park near us.
