.) How did the dog do in the car? He was perfect in the car, he say in the seat and looked out the window the whole time. It is a bit difficult to get him into the car, I recommend getting into the car yourself then calling him in with you. That worked for me everytime.
.) How was the dog around other people? He was great around people, very friendly. He would sometimes jump up for attention but listened when ordered to back off.
.) How was the dog near other animals? He ignored ducks and other dogs that we passed.
.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? He did behave while we ate; he silently stared at our food.
.) Did the dog beg for food? He did not bed, just stared.
.) How did the dog accept treats? He took treats gently out of our hands.
.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? Many people gave him attention but no one showed interest in adopting.
.) Did you take photos and videos? They are attached to this email
.) Did you email photos and videos to: Foster@Broward.org ? ^
.) Other comments:
Malcolmn is a very sweet playful dog. He was very excited to get out of the shelter but he was scared of getting in the car at first. I had to open the door for him, then get into the car myself first then he would follow me into the car. After getting into the car, he would calm down quickly and ride perfectly in the backseat. He never tried to jump into the front seat or misbehave in the backseat in any way. When we got to the park he was happy to walk around the entire park with us and behaved very well when walking around the park. He pulled when excited but backed off when told to. At the restaurant, he sat calmly with us while we had drinks and ate our food. Many people came up to give him attention and he enjoyed all of them, he is very friendly. He would be a great addition to any home.
