A2186467Sunday, 03 April, 2022Officer 3128 4/3/22 Arrived and knocked on the front door. I received no answer. I could see and hear the dog ( AMS, Male, Brown/Tan ) in the backyard. I would put the dogs BCS at a 5 and the FAS at a 5. The dog is extremely fearful. I wrote out and taped a Door Knocker to the front door of 1068 Long Island Av Fort Lauderdale. Photos were taken. After taping the Door Knocker, I grabbed my catch pole and removed the dog from the property. I placed the dog in one of my holding areas and scanned him for a microchip. He had no microchip or ID. 3128Sunday, 03 April, 2022 9:52AMNote

A2186467Monday, 29 August, 2022Ofc 3195 08/29/22 11:18 Walked Nash for one on one play during Monday enrichment activities. Upon bringing him into the play-yard, he intially remained by my side and only moved off a little to sniff the yard. He was very responsive to treats and very quickly started to learn 'lay down' and 'come here.' He already knew 'sit' and was very keen to provide this behavior even when it was not asked for. I rewarded him for behaviors and then we started to play fetch with the tennis ball to encourage him to move around the play yard. He would chase the ball but was not sure about picking it up and returning it. When he finally started to explore, I sat down on the bench, but he immediately came over. I was able to pet/scratch him, but he was direct/hard looking at the treat pouch and when I did not ask for a behavior or offer a treat, he attempted to jump up with no warning. I redirected him (no treats) and stood. I then asked for a 'sit' leashed him. We then went for a walk, no further treats given. He walked VERY well on the leash. No tugging/pulling. Very gentlemanly! Overall, extremely treat motivated and smart, definitely seemed to be anticipating what I was going to ask for next. Very good boy!Monday, 29 August, 2022 11:27AMBehavior

A2186467Saturday, 26 November, 2022Broward Buddies Date: 11/23/2022 Dog Name and ID: Nash- A2186467 Volunteer Name and Phone Number: Ashley Waters Broward Buddies Date Location(s) Visited: 2400 sw 42nd st Ft Lauderdale Duration of the Date: 1130-430 1.) How did the dog do in the car? He did not get in on his own, i coaxed him and he laid down on the pavement instead, i don't think he's been in a car many times before so i had to pick him up each time and put him in. Once inside the vehicle he was great, he laid down and was very content and relaxed. 2.) How was the dog around other people? Very sweet and affectionate, he would walk right up to people and want pets. 3.) How was the dog near other animals? We encountered several dogs and Nash didn't bark or become aggressive but he was curious and stood staring at them. There was a dog off leash somewhat close to us at the beach and Nash enjoyed watching him run around and dig holes, his tail was wagging as he watched the dog( it was a female i assume because of a pink collar) 4.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? Yes 5.) Did the dog beg for food? No 6.) How did the dog accept treats?Super gently 7.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? Yes many people 8.) Did you take photos and videos? Yes 9.) Did you email photos and videos to: Foster@Broward.org ? Not yet i will 10.) Other comments:Nash is a delight to be around. He's a big goofy lover boy. He is a thick boy and i was slightly nervous that he might pull me around but not even once, he walks so well on the leash and is laid back. He was very affectionate and smart and obeys simple commands. I can't figure out why he hasn't been adopted, as he would make a family so happy. I will request to take this awesome boy out again and promote him all over my social media networks because he deserves a loving family, he is a perfect boy! He is smart and listens well, walks great on a leash and is very affectionate. He gets very excited and overwhelmed at first but then is low key and would be a good couch potato with his human but he also enjoys walks, anything that involves one on one attention from his human. A2186467Thursday, 12 January, 2023Broward Buddies Date: January 6, 2022 Dog Name and ID: Nash Volunteer Name and Phone Number: Jayde Trinh Broward Buddies Date Location(s) Visited: Tarpon River Brewing Duration of the Date: 4.5 hours 1.) How did the dog do in the car? Nash did great. Well, he wanted to give kisses and cuddles during the ride but 2.) How was the dog around other people? Nash was amazing and cuddly with everyone that greeted him. He does the cutest lean against whoever he wants attention from. 3.) How was the dog near other animals? We only ran into other dogs. He really focused in on the dogs, but did not bark or lunge or act aggressive in anyway. We ran into some volunteers with another dog and he wanted to go up to her, but was easy to pull away. Again, no lunge or bark. 4.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? Yes. He came up for kisses once, but did not beg for food. He didn't lay down when we were eating but he stayed pretty still to the point where I forgot he was there for a minute. 5.) Did the dog beg for food? No. Though I may have snuck him a piece of chicken…sorry. 6.) How did the dog accept treats? He did not take the treat gently. Lol He didn't hurt me but he grabbed it so quickly and deeply that there was no space between the end of the treat and my hand. His next treat I placed on the ground instead of giving it to him by hand. 7.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? A lot of people came up to greet Nash! He loved the attention and was so sweet with everyone. Everyone I spoke to already had dogs though so it didn't seem like they were looking to adopt. 8.) Did you take photos and videos? We took lots of photos and videos! 9.) Did you email photos and videos to: Foster@Broward.org ? Attached to this email. 10.) Other comments: Nash does not listen to the sit command when he is focused on other things like dogs. He was still a pleasure to be around. He is the first dog I took out since signing up for the program and he made a great impression. We were already attached to him by the time we had to take him back. He seriously made me so happy, I can't wait to continue to participate in the program. I travel a lot for work and I usually enjoy it, but I actually got bummed that I wouldn't be able to participate in the Broward Buddies program as much as I'd like because of it. I'm going to cut down on my work travels this year though because that's how happy this program and Nash made me!Thursday, 12 January, 2023 12:32PMBehavior

A2186467Thursday, 19 January, 2023Broward Buddies Date: 1-8-23 1.) How did the dog do in the car? The dog was great in the car. He did not need help getting into the vehicle. He moves around a little as he gets comfortable and may try to join people in the front seat. 2.) How was the dog around other people? Great around other people. Very social. We did notice that he does not do well in big crowds. It might be due to overstimulation of people/other animals. 3.) How was the dog near other animals? Nash looks like he is intrigued by other animals, but his curiosity can come across as an attack to other pets. We went to Las Olas Boulevard for a few minutes, but had to leave because he was too excited and anxious with other animals. 4.) Did the dog behave while you were eating? We didn't get the chance to eat with Nash. We went to three different restaurants on the list of recommended restaurants, but because of the stimulation by other animals, we felt it was safer to leave. 5.) Did the dog beg for food? No. 6.) How did the dog accept treats? He was patient, but excited for treats. Overall great. 7.) Did anyone show any interest in the dog? Yes, people overall were interested, but as we were walking in - a man showed interest in adoption. He spoke to Ricardo and took photos of Nash to show his husband. 8.) Did you take photos and videos? Yes, we did. 9.) Did you email photos and videos to: Foster@Broward.org ? The photos are included in this email. 10.) Other comments: Nash was very sweet. Seems like the perfect pet to lounge on the couch. Enjoyed belly scratches and rolling in the grass. Overall lazy, cool, and calm. Thursday, 19 January, 2023 5:41PMBehavior
