A2154138Monday, 04 October, 2021has gotten better on leash. housebroken. knows sit, and paw. takes treats ok. very treat motivated. happy boy. loves tennis balls but will not return/or interact with handler once he has them. going back, its easy to take ball away using treats.Monday, 04 October, 2021 4:7PMBehavior
A2154138Monday, 18 October, 2021Henny is such a sweet boy. He will sit so I can leash him calmly before exiting the kennel and he takes treats gently. He's a bit strong and will pull when he first gets outside. I enjoy taking him to the yard because he has so much fun playing with toys and rolling around in the grass. I use treats to get him to drop the tennis ball before going back to the kennel, but lately he has been less willing to drop it right away.Monday, 18 October, 2021 6:3PMBehavior

A2154138Thursday, 04 November, 202111/04/21 15:52-Kennel staff note continue increase in anxious and stressed behaviors in kennel (pacing, whining-previously noted, hypersalvation-new). Staff note no changes out of kennel and state that he is still easy to handle and social with them. Asked that they increase IK enrichment and C4Q, C4C. Will ask team to reach out for foster/rescue options as well. JJThursday, 04 November, 2021 3:56PMBehavior
A2154138Thursday, 04 November, 2021Henny - A2154138 6 Yrs. old & 69 lbs. Henny (A2154138) arrived at the shelter on 08/14/21 as a stray. Henny recently has 'leveled up' regarding his anxiety inside his kennel as he is now hypersalivating and now the inside of his kennel is constantly soaked! Outside of his kennel, Henny is a really good boy as staff noted that he is 'excellent' outside his kennel. We are concerned that if Henny is not placed in an environment better suited to his needs as soon as possible, his anxiety will continue to increase to higher levels. Please help Henny find a good home soon, as he is a good boy and ready to be moved in with a loving family of his own! Will you be the one to change his life fur-ever??? A2154138Monday, 15 November, 2021we no longer give him a tennis ball, we believe he might be eating some of the pieces. instead we give him, "rope material" balls. after walks we give him a blanket and his toy and this does help him with his stress for a bit. continues to be a good boy outside. but i can see he has become more anxious.Monday, 15 November, 2021 6:5PMBehavior

A2154138Saturday, 25 December, 2021Henny's stress is mostly during the moring early afternoon. once he has gone outside, and given his frozen Kong and tennis ball (he no longer breaks or eats them) he is very calm and greets everyone from his kennel with a wag and a big smile. he could use a foster so he can decompress. but staff have no issues with him walking/playing or cleaning himSaturday, 25 December, 2021 6:1PMBehavior
