A2149325Sunday, 07 November, 2021foster states that the last week or two Jed has seemed to decline -- not eating as well and vomiting. foster stated had diarrhea one day but cleared up last two days has not eaten anything offered but will have some days he eats two to three times a day when eating regularly seems as though not gaining any weight per foster foster aware Jed is fospice care and wants to know if its time or to wait any longer G000517 -- try supportive therapy and see how Jed reacts. gave 2.2ml entyce and 2.3 ml cerenia today; sent home with additional dose of entyce -- let foster know can give as soon as tomorrow or if eating to wait until stops eating. also sent home 60mg galliprant SID x 14 days if eating to help with arthritis of back legs (falling down a lot while here). let foster know to keep us updated and if continues to decline this week to bring him back for humane euthanasia but if doing well can pick up more galliprant as needed. if Jed makes it to february - due for another hw test to confirm treatment worked. cleaned ears while here as well.Sunday, 07 November, 2021 11:10AMMedical

Re foster in general - I already own 5 dogs soon due for registration renewals, and I have 2 fosters - Jed for you, and Lacey (originally she was for you & I was able to get a rescue to take ownership as long as I continue foster). So with 7 in my care, the best I can do for now is what I'm doing. I love dogs and appreciate all the county is trying to do with all the new programs to give them every chance.Wednesday, 22 December, 2021 7:18PMBehavior
