A2146037Sunday, 19 September, 2021A staff member left me a note stating that Favien seems more stressed than he has been previously. Will try to give break in viewing room this week, add enrichment, and add to behavior list for monitoring. JJSunday, 19 September, 2021 9:58AMBehavior
A2146037Tuesday, 21 September, 202109/21/21 17:21- I moved Favien to a viewing room for the day to give him a break from his kennel. He readily approached the front of the cage this AM and walked very nicely on leash outside. He urianted and defecated outside as well. Once in the viewing room he readily explored, ate treats, and solicited attention. I observed Favien calmly watching out the window of his room for most of the day. He kept his room very tidy and there were no messes when I went to take him out again in the evening. Again, he was easy to leash and walk and he again urianted and defecated outside. He went back into his kennel well and was also easy to unleash. JJTuesday, 21 September, 2021 5:23PMBehavior
A2146037Friday, 24 September, 2021Favien is definitely more stressed than he used to be, but he is still affectionate and nice. His main issue is his new habit of leash biting. The band-aid solution is to lock everyone over and let him run to the door himself, but today I did not have that option, so I tried going into his kennel with him with treats. He attempted a few times to bite my leash, and got it once, while I was trying to put it on him. He DID listen very well to verbal "Ah-ah". He sat for me. I could tell he really wanted to keep chomping on my leash but in the end, Favien came out of his kennel with me, on leash, with little incident. I did not feel unsafe with him and I don't think he is at risk for redirecting to a person at this time, but we definitely need to keep on top of helping him de-stress with more regular play/enrichment. When I went to leash him to go back inside from the yard, he tried to chew my leash again, but responded to a verbal cue and went back with no issues.Friday, 24 September, 2021 9:40AMBehavior
A2146037Saturday, 25 September, 2021no issues outside kennel with Favien. he does bark alot in kennel, and stands up more to get attention. seems a bit stressed. does good on leash, takes treats nice. knows sit (ask for paw he gives you both and a hug) he enjoys pets and loves back rubs. he is a very happy guy outside of kennel.Saturday, 25 September, 2021 4:56PMBehavior
A2146037Monday, 27 September, 2021This patient is not showing any signs of illness, has no change in body condition and has no reported current medical concerns noted by staff.Monday, 27 September, 2021 9:1AMMedical
A2146037Wednesday, 29 September, 2021Favien comes out of his kennel with 0 leash biting if you do the following: Lock every dog over in the row. Lock him over on the opposite side. Leave the kennel door wide open. Go inside. Lift up the guillotine by hand and lasso him as he pokes his head out. He goes right to the door with no issues at all. He is excellent on leash, and outside, is a total cuddler and loves attention. His kennel is the source of his stress, so maybe he can get extra walks if we have time.Thursday, 30 September, 2021 3:18PMBehavior
