A2049612Thursday, 29 April, 2021very vocal in kennel. Can be intimidating in kennel because he gets very mouthy or seems to be biting at bars. Outside, he walks well on leash, seems housebroken. Takes treats nice. Enjoys pets and getting some sun. Would be good in a home, if he is the only pet, based on playgroup note. Thursday, 29 April, 2021 5:15PMBehavior

A2049612Thursday, 03 June, 2021FOSTER UPDATE: Also, I have attached a few more photo for you to place on Facebook. A2049612Thursday, 03 June, 2021FOSTER UPDATE: Date: 5/2/21 Dog Name and ID: Kiko A2049612 How did dog do in car? He did well in car. Excited about getting in the car. Enjoys looking out the windows. But have to ensure he stays in one location, or he will be all over the car. How was dog around other people? He enjoys meeting people, especially if they give him attention. How was dog near other animals? Unsure. We are novice and didn't test him around other dogs or pets. Did dog behave while you were eating? Sometimes he will come to the table to try to get food and we would try to distract him with his treats. Did dog beg for food? Every once in a while he would come to the table looking for us to give him food, or looking around the ground for food that we drop. How did dog accept treats? He enjoyed treats all the time. Did anyone show any interest in dog? We ask many people around the neighborhood, but most of our neighbors already have pets and weren't interested. Barb at your facility did mention that someone called and expressed interest in adopting Kiko. Other comments: In House: Kiko is a great dog, especially around the house. He is fully house trained. He obeys and doesn't touch anything that is not his, nor does he go anywhere that he is not suppose to go in the house. If we go upstairs, he will wait at the bottom of the stairs. He lays around most of the day. He is not interested in most toys. Backyard: When we let him out in the backyard he does what he needs to and comes back in. But if we let him outback to play, he does dig holes and run around with branches. We have tried to throwing balls and freebies but he is not interested. Leash: Walks are sometimes difficult. He had been pulling a lot on the leash, and Philip Goen recommended to place the leash on the front of the harness, which has helped with the pulling. He is constantly sniffing during walks looking for lizards and frog, we distract him with treats. Sometimes he doesn't make it very far and would sit down in the middle of walking and we would have to encourage to get back up. Storms: He doesn't like thunderstorms and will refuses to go outside even if it is not raining. Thursday, 03 June, 2021 5:20PMBehavior
