Low Microchip: NF Initials:PJG Upon kennel approach, dog barked and ran to back of kennel growling w/ stiff body posture and whale eye. As I attempted to place dog on ketch-pole for scanning, dog began jumping in an attempt to escape, but did not direct aggression towards me. Once on ketch-pole, minimal effort was required to handle dog. Dog froze and allowed full body scan w/ no redirection.--PJG Friday, 07 September, 2018 11:26AMBehavior
A1983827Saturday, 08 September, 2018DFEBLES Note Went to take dog out for a temp test and she immediately came up to the leash and let me put it on. She went outside without an issue but is not easy to walk since she pulls a lot. Very sweet outside and jumped up on the bench with me to give kisses and lied down on my lap for some time. She shows a lot of reactivity in the cage but she seems to have just wanted some attention. After bringing her back to her cage I sat down with her and she let me take her spike collar off and give her a treat.Saturday, 08 September, 2018 2:57PMBehavior

Cici is social with handlers as well and would make an excellent greeter dog for future playgroups. M McCormicSunday, 23 December, 2018 4:31PMBehavior

A1983827Tuesday, 09 March, 202103/09/21 11:14 CICI is very kennel reactive, thus having to lock her on the opposite side of the run where the dogs aren't being walked so she does not upset passing dogs. Same goes for when she is being walked, she actively searches for dogs in the kennel to fight with at the barrier when walking her out. On the leash she tugs but briefly, after that she walks OK. A1983827Wednesday, 10 March, 202103/10/21 - 16:40 Cici continues to be barrier and dog reactive. She charges every dog she encounters. On our walk today, she pulled on the leash the entire duration of our walk, which was not very pleasant. However, due to her size, I can easily steer her and handle her safely. She is extremely high strung and anxious, especially around other animals. MWWednesday, 10 March, 2021 4:39PMBehavior

A1983827Monday, 14 June, 2021Cici, can be very sweet and loving. she does have energy to burn. she knows sit and takes treats ok. loves her bed, housebroken. will tug on leash in the beginning but stops after awhile. she loves people and toys. good girl, must be only pet in home.Monday, 14 June, 2021 6:40PMBehavior
A1983827Saturday, 26 June, 202106/26/21 - 11:30 I brought out Cici for an interested family, and she was full of energy (per usual). I kept her on the leash to avoid her jumping all over them, especially since they had a child. She has always been affectionate with me, so as she approached the family, I figured she was seeking out attention from them. She stood there as they petted her, wagging tail and all. At one point, the father quickly reached over her head and she instantly snapped. I pulled her away at the perfect time to avoid his hand being bit. I have never observed this behavior from her, or heard of anyone else having issues like this with her. I am concerned by how quickly her behavior and intensity changed. I walked her around the yard a few times to allow her to decompress, then returned her to her run without issues. Going forward, she should be on a leash at all times during meet and greets, and the handler should be overly cautious when introducing her to strangers.Saturday, 26 June, 2021 11:40AMBehavior
A1983827Wednesday, 30 June, 2021Cici is very kennel and barrier reactive, very strong on the leash, and can be quite nippy but otherwise she can be be very affectionate and playful as she accepts rubs and scratches around the neck and back, chases toys, give kisses and sit and for treats.Wednesday, 30 June, 2021 1:56PMBehavior

A1983827Tuesday, 03 August, 20218/3-I have noted on my walkthroughs for C4C/Q over the two previous days that Cici has a fantastic kennel presence (sits or stands at the front of the cage with loose or neutral BL) and will readily take treats and interact with you when you approach. I did observe her on leash on 8/1 and she was excitedly darting and jumping in an attempt to continue walking and interacting with people. She was easy to leash as she walked into the slip lead loop without hesitation. Once on leash she was pulling quite a bit, but when I switched it to more of a harness fit, this helped. She continued taking treats while we were walking, but what I had on me was not high value enough to be succesful in working on LLW at this time, additionally, she seemed over her threshold for learning due to wanting to walk. Once in the office, she readily explored and began playing with toys. She also readily engaged for snacks, but only for brief periods and seemed to want to play and explore more frequently. She also really seemed to enjoy attention, especially back scratches. She knows the sit cue and will readily perform it when cued. She walked very well back to her kennel with the slip lead in a harness type position and went into her cage nicely as well. JJThursday, 05 August, 2021 9:19AMBehavior

A1983827Sunday, 26 September, 202109/26/21 11:25- I spoke to the foster regarding the bite that occured this AM. Foster noted that they were sitting outside after their walk as they typically do and a middle aged white man of normal stature approached and stuck his hand out. As he did so Cici bit his hand leaving several punctures and then retreated. Foster noted that they had met other people of similar description before without issues and have met other people on walks without issues. Foster noted that she was otherwise doing very well. He did note that he did observe some resource guarding behavior around bones or food if his roommate were to approach her while eating, but that this was well and easily managed. Did well otherwise. A1983827Saturday, 09 October, 2021Cici was reactive toward me when I was inside of her kennel as I attempted to close the guillotine from the inside because she would not move to the side I needed her on. She growled and jumped at me as if to bite my hand on the guillotine frame. I stopped and exited her kennel, finished moving the other dogs, and then closed her guillotine from the outside and physically moved her around to the desired side via leash, which she let me do just fine. I spoke to Arlien about it and we moved her from her room in the 177B to 177A where the guillotine can be closed by the wire if need, whereas it was not possible in the original room. Wrote to "go slow when in kennel" on the board for anyone walking her in the future so they are aware. Saturday, 09 October, 2021 6:28PMBehavior
