A2104624Tuesday, 27 October, 2020This pet has received treatment for Heartworm following our two-injection treatment protocol. While this treatment is 90% effective, it is the adopter's responsibility to have their pet re-tested after 6 months post treatment. If the adopted pet retests positive, a third injection may need to be given at adopter's own veterinarian/expense. Treatment of all medical conditions affecting this patient currently, or that patient may develop in the future is the adopter's responsibility. Once adopted, any and all bills and expenses incurred relating to this and any other conditions are the responsibility of the adopter at their own veterinarian. A2104624Wednesday, 04 November, 2020Emilio allows me to leash him, and walk with no problems. During our walks he follows direction, and gives no cause for concern. However, when putting him back into his kennel he will attempt to mount. He will latch on my leg with his paws, and try to prevent me from moving. I was able to remove him from my leg with no problems, or aggression from him. This is the second time he has done this to me, so this seems to be a pattern he is forming.Wednesday, 04 November, 2020 3:10PMBehavior
A2104624Monday, 23 November, 2020A few days ago Emilio had a meet & greet with a potential adopter and their dog. My coworker and I explained our experiences with Emilio's barrier reactivity and possible dog reactivity. We gave it a shot but unfortunately neither of us felt comfortable allowing the two dogs to fully meet. Emilio was pulling hard on the leash the entire time, desperate to get to the other dog. When I allowed him to approach the other dog, he immediately "muzzle-punched" her on the backside. The potential adopters understood our concerns and decided to adopt a different dog.Monday, 23 November, 2020 1:6PMBehavior

A2104624Tuesday, 27 April, 2021Emilio is a very easy walker, and will sit by your side for pets for spell. Once he is comfortable and maybe a little bored, he begins to try and hump you...pretty insistently and takes a while to redirect back to walking. He may be a little too forceful in this for children, so adopters should be aware and excercise caution.Tuesday, 27 April, 2021 2:48PMBehavior
